Activate the power switch before installing the light.
Position the light beneath the flagpole ornament or topper.
Allow the solar panel to receive strong direct sunlight.
Before mounting the light at the top of the pole, make sure the power switch is set to the ON position.
You can test the light by activating the switch and covering the solar panel. If the LEDs illuminate, the unit is ready for installation.
Solar operation makes the fixture especially useful where running electrical service to the flagpole would be inconvenient or costly.
Solar lighting performance depends heavily on available daytime sunlight. Correct placement and occasional cleaning help maximize charging and runtime.
